Parts for the second-generation X5
The E70 X5 was built from July 2006 to July 2013 at BMW's Spartanburg plant in the United States. BMW South Africa's price list for February 2007 shows how it started here: three models, the X5 3.0si petrol, the X5 3.0d diesel and the V8 X5 4.8i, all with a six-speed Steptronic automatic.
Early cars and updated cars
Cars.co.za notes that the 4.4-litre V8 X5 M arrived in 2009 and that the X5 received its mid-life update (LCI) in 2011. When you ask for an engine, turbo, gearbox or cooling part, the year and the VIN from your registration certificate let us find the right unit.
BMW South Africa's 2007 price list shows xDrive all-wheel drive as standard, so transfer cases, front differentials and propshafts all come up as requests. Tell us the year and engine and we will match the drivetrain part to your car.
The 3.0d
