Parts for the third-generation X5
The F15 X5 was built from April 2013 to July 2018 in Spartanburg in the United States. BMW South Africa's launch press kit, from February 2014, describes the engines available from launch as a 330 kW V8 in the xDrive50i and a 190 kW six-cylinder diesel in the xDrive30d, with the M50d also in the range. Cars.co.za adds that the X5 M topped the line-up and that every engine came with an eight-speed automatic.
Which F15 do you have?
The badge tells us a lot. The xDrive30d is a 3.0-litre six-cylinder diesel, the M50d a tri-turbo version of the 3.0-litre diesel, and the xDrive50i a 4.4-litre petrol V8, with the X5 M above them. Engine parts differ between them, so give us the badge and the VIN from your registration certificate.
Body and lights
BMW notes that the F15 was the brand's first model with Aero Blades, and that the xDrive50i and M50d had xenon headlights as standard. Lighting, bumpers and trim vary with model and options, so for body parts send a photo of the damaged part and tell us whether the car has the M Sport package.

Transfer cases, front differentials and propshafts on xDrive models are matched by engine and year, so include both in your request.
