Parts for the Rosslyn-built X3
The G01 is the third-generation X3, and for South Africa it is a local car. BMW started building it at Plant Rosslyn, outside Pretoria, in April 2018 after a R6.2 billion investment, and the last one left the line on 28 August 2024, bringing Rosslyn's X3 total to 403,114. BMW says 95% of the X3s built there in 2021 were exported, to close to 30 markets.
Two-wheel drive or xDrive?
Not every G01 is all-wheel drive. BMW South Africa's 2021 press kit lists five engines for the updated X3: the sDrive18d (110 kW diesel), xDrive20d (140 kW diesel), xDrive30d (195 kW diesel), sDrive20i (135 kW petrol) and M40i (285 kW petrol). "xDrive" models have BMW's all-wheel drive and "sDrive" models do not, so the drivetrain parts differ. Tell us which badge is on the tailgate before you ask for drivetrain parts. Cars.co.za also lists an xDrive20i and the X3 M for this generation.

Typical accident-repair parts on a G01 are headlights, bumpers with parking sensors, grilles, bonnets, fenders, mirrors and radiators. Because the X3 was updated in 2021, give us the year and send a photo of the damaged part, and say if the car has the M Sport package.
