How we source S-Class parts

Stripped from accident-damaged Mercedes-Benz cars, then tested

  • Over 15 years stripping accident-damaged vehicles for used parts.
  • Removed carefully and tested before a part is sold, so you're not paying for something that doesn't work.
  • Matched to your car — send the year, engine and VIN if you have it, and we'll check it's the right part.

The S-Class by generation

The S-Class is the Mercedes flagship, and every generation is packed with model-specific electronics. Matching the generation code is the first step to the right part:

  • W126 (1979–1992).
  • W140 (1991–1999).
  • W220 (1998–2005): the base for the CL-Class C215 coupé.
  • W221 (2005–2013): the base for the C216 CL-Class coupé.
  • W222 (2013–2020) and W223 (from 2020): the modern cars, with coupé and cabriolet versions of the W222 era.

Why the VIN matters on an S-Class

S-Class specifications vary widely from car to car, so two cars of the same year can need different parts. The VIN lets us check the exact specification before we quote, so please include it. For engine parts, add the engine number.

What we can help with

We can quote on body panels, lights, mirrors, doors, interior parts, engines, gearboxes and electrical parts. Everything is stripped from accident-damaged cars and checked before it goes out, and we have over 15 years of stripping and selling used parts behind us. Tell us the colour for painted parts, and whether the part has sensors, cameras or heating elements.

The production dates overlap at each changeover, so a car registered in 1998 or 2005 could be either generation. The VIN settles it. If you have the old part in hand, a photo of its label is just as useful, because it carries the part number we match against.

For the two-door versions built on S-Class underpinnings, see CL-Class parts. For the next size down, see the E-Class. If your S-Class has done its last kilometre, sell it to us for scrap.
