How we source C-Class parts
Stripped from accident-damaged Mercedes-Benz cars, then tested
- Over 15 years stripping accident-damaged vehicles for used parts.
- Removed carefully and tested before a part is sold, so you're not paying for something that doesn't work.
- Matched to your car — send the year, engine and VIN if you have it, and we'll check it's the right part.
South Africa's own Mercedes
Mercedes-Benz South Africa started building the C-Class in East London in 1994, beginning with the W202, and has built every sedan generation since: the W203, W204, W205 and now the W206. So when you need a C-Class part, the generation code matters more than the badge on the boot. The C200 badge has been used on several generations, and their parts are not interchangeable by name alone.
Find your generation
- W202: the first C-Class, built from 1992 to 2001.
- W203: 1999 to 2010, including the Sport Coupé that later became the CLC.
- W204: 2006 to 2015, built in East London alongside Germany.
- W205: launched here in June 2014 as the C180, C200, C250 and C220 BlueTec, then joined by the C250 BlueTec, the 2.0-litre turbo C300, the C350e plug-in hybrid and the AMG C43 and C63.
- W206: in production in East London since 2021.
What goes wrong on a W205
South African buyer's guides point to electronics on the W205, especially pre-facelift cars: unresponsive infotainment screens, keyless-entry faults, touchpad failures and door-handle LEDs that fail early. Cabin trim and door seals can creak. The pre-facelift C300 is known to log a P052E crankcase pressure fault. A tested used part is one way to sort a failed screen, handle or sensor.
How to get the right part
Send us the year, the derivative (C180, C200, C220d and so on), the body style and the VIN. The VIN pins down the exact model, which matters for headlights, mirrors and anything with a sensor. With over 15 years of stripping and selling used parts, we check parts before they go out. If you also run an older E-Class, see our E-Class parts page, or start at all Mercedes-Benz parts. Finished with the car? Sell it to us for scrap.

FAQ
Mercedes-Benz C-Class parts questions
Where can I buy Mercedes parts?
New genuine parts come through Mercedes-Benz dealers. For used parts, a supplier that strips Mercedes-Benz cars can quote on body parts, lights, engines and gearboxes. We strip accident-damaged C-Class cars and test parts before they go out. Send us the year and VIN and we'll check what we have.
