A C-Class on stilts
The GLC is the mid-size Mercedes SUV. The first generation, the X253, ran from 2015 to 2022 on the same MRA rear-drive architecture as the W205 C-Class, with a sloping-roof GLC Coupé (C253) alongside it and a facelift in 2020. The second generation, the X254, arrived in 2022 and is related to the W206 C-Class.

What to send for a quote
The year, the derivative (GLC 220d, GLC 250, GLC 300 and so on), SUV or Coupé, whether it is pre- or post-facelift if you know, and the VIN. For bumpers and mirrors, mention parking sensors, cameras and the paint colour. The VIN settles the exact specification.
A quick way to tell the generations apart: a GLC built from 2015 to 2022 is the X253 (or C253 if it is a Coupé), and one built from 2022 on is the X254 or C254. The 2020 facelift falls inside the first generation, so tell us the exact year as well.
