How we source GLA parts

Stripped from accident-damaged Mercedes-Benz cars, then tested

  • Over 15 years stripping accident-damaged vehicles for used parts.
  • Removed carefully and tested before a part is sold, so you're not paying for something that doesn't work.
  • Matched to your car — send the year, engine and VIN if you have it, and we'll check it's the right part.

The compact Mercedes SUV

The GLA is the smallest Mercedes SUV. The first generation, the X156, was built in Rastatt, Germany, from December 2013 to November 2019 on the MFA front-wheel-drive platform, the same family as the W176 A-Class, C117 CLA and W246 B-Class. The second generation, the H247, has been in production since December 2019 and was facelifted in 2023.

Generations

  • X156 (2013–2019): the original GLA, including the AMG GLA 45. It moved from bi-xenon to LED headlamps at its facelift, so the year matters for a headlight.
  • H247 (2019 on): the second generation, facelifted in 2023.

Asking for a GLA part

Send the year, the derivative (GLA 200, GLA 220d, GLA 45 and so on), 4MATIC or front-wheel drive, and the VIN. For headlights, tell us whether yours are xenon or LED; they are different parts. If you need a bumper, mention parking sensors and the colour.

If you are not sure which generation you have, the year is enough: anything built up to November 2019 is the X156, and anything from December 2019 on is the H247. If you know whether it is pre- or post-facelift, add that, because headlights and bumpers follow the facelift, not the badge.

All our parts are stripped from accident-damaged vehicles and checked before they leave, and we have been stripping and selling used parts for over 15 years. The GLA's sibling sedan is on our CLA parts page, and the bigger SUV is under GLC parts. Ready to let a damaged GLA go? Get a scrap offer.
