How we source B-Class parts

Stripped from accident-damaged Mercedes-Benz cars, then tested

  • Over 15 years stripping accident-damaged vehicles for used parts.
  • Removed carefully and tested before a part is sold, so you're not paying for something that doesn't work.
  • Matched to your car — send the year, engine and VIN if you have it, and we'll check it's the right part.

The A-Class's bigger brother

The B-Class arrived in 2005 as a larger, more practical car based on the A-Class. The first generation, the W245, kept the A-Class's sandwich floor, with the drivetrain partly in front of and under the cabin. The W246 of 2011 was the first Mercedes on the front-wheel-drive MFA platform, which later also carried the W176 A-Class, the CLA and the GLA. The W247 followed at the end of 2018 and was built until 2026.

Generations at a glance

  • W245 (2005–2011): the tall-floor car, based on the A-Class.
  • W246 (from 2011): built in Rastatt, Germany, from November 2011.
  • W247 (2018–2026): the third generation, facelifted in 2022.

Because the B-Class shares its platform with other compact Mercedes models, people sometimes assume parts swap across. We don't assume that. We check every part by part number before we quote.

Getting a quote

Give us the year, the derivative on the boot lid (B 180, B 200 and so on), petrol or diesel, manual or automatic, and the VIN. For a door, mirror or bumper, the colour code on the car's data sticker saves a respray. If a headlight or mirror has a camera or sensor, say so, because those carry different part numbers.

Every part we sell is stripped from an accident-damaged car and tested first, and we have been doing this for over 15 years. You may also want our A-Class parts page if you run both, or browse the full Mercedes-Benz range. If the B-Class is no longer worth repairing, sell it to us for scrap.
