How we source Vito parts

Stripped from accident-damaged Mercedes-Benz cars, then tested

  • Over 15 years stripping accident-damaged vehicles for used parts.
  • Removed carefully and tested before a part is sold, so you're not paying for something that doesn't work.
  • Matched to your car — send the year, engine and VIN if you have it, and we'll check it's the right part.

The mid-size Mercedes van

The Vito sits between the bigger Sprinter and the smaller Citan in the Mercedes van range. It is sold as a panel van, a chassis cab or a passenger vehicle carrying up to eight people. When the load area is fitted with seats, the same van is known as the Vito Traveliner or Tourer, the Viano (on the W639) or the V-Class (on the W447). That matters for parts, because the passenger versions share a lot with the van underneath.

Three generations

  • W638 (1995–2005): the first Vito.
  • W639 (2003–2014): the second generation, built in Spain and facelifted in 2010. Its passenger sibling was the Viano.
  • W447 (from 2014): the current van, built at Vitoria in Spain, with the V-Class as its passenger sibling.

Parts that cross over

A W639 Vito and a Viano of the same year and engine share many mechanical parts, and the same is true of a W447 Vito and a V-Class. Interior trim, seats and some exterior details differ, so we confirm by part number against your VIN. That gives Vito owners a bigger pool of donor vehicles to draw from.

What to send

Send the year, the engine, manual or automatic, panel van or passenger, the wheelbase if you know it, and the VIN. For a sliding door, tell us which side. For lights and bumpers, the year tells us whether it is pre- or post-facelift. Our parts are stripped from accident-damaged vans and tested before they go out, and we have been stripping and selling used parts for over 15 years.

For the passenger version of the W639, see Viano parts. For the larger van, see the Sprinter parts page. Got a van that has done its last job? We can make you an offer.

FAQ

Mercedes-Benz Vito parts questions

Where can I find Mercedes parts?

Mercedes-Benz dealers supply new genuine parts. For used Vito parts, ask a supplier that strips Mercedes vans. Many parts are shared with the Viano and V-Class of the same generation. We strip accident-damaged vans and test parts before they go out. Send the year, engine and VIN for a price.
