How we source Ford parts
Stripped from accident-damaged Ford cars, then tested
- Over 15 years stripping accident-damaged vehicles for used parts.
- Removed carefully and tested before a part is sold, so you're not paying for something that doesn't work.
- Matched to your car — send the year, engine and VIN if you have it, and we'll check it's the right part.
What Ford owners ask us for
Ford owners sent 96 part requests in the 12 months to October 2026, third on our list. Doors lead (9), then engines (6), gearboxes (5), and bumpers and radiators (4 each). The latest Ford requests here were for 2013 and 2015 vehicles, the age when a gearbox or radiator often becomes a used-part job.
The Ranger is a Pretoria bakkie
Ford builds the Ranger at its Silverton plant in Pretoria and marked the one-millionth locally built Ranger in 2024, after 24 years of production there. That is one reason Ranger parts are in steady supply and steady demand — see our Ford Ranger spares page for that model on its own.
Ford's passenger range has shrunk. The Fiesta and Figo were discontinued in 2022, the EcoSport in 2023 and the Puma in 2025, leaving the Territory, Everest and Ranger as the main models. Owners of the discontinued cars still need panels, lights and engines, and used parts are often the simplest answer.
Getting a price for Ford parts
Use the form at the top of this page: your Ford model, its year, and the part. The engine size and the VIN from your licence disc are a bonus, and if you are replacing a damaged panel or light, say which side of the car it is on. Parts come from accident-damaged vehicles we strip, and each one is tested before it goes out — something we've been doing for over 15 years. We'll come back to you with a price.
If you are asking about a Ranger, say whether it is single, super or double cab, and 4x2 or 4x4.
FAQ
Ford parts questions
Are Ford parts still available?
Yes, and the Ranger is a local car: Ford builds it at its Silverton plant in Pretoria, where the one-millionth Ranger came off the line in 2024. Several passenger Fords have gone, though: the Fiesta and Figo in 2022, the EcoSport in 2023 and the Puma in 2025. Owners of those cars often turn to used parts for panels, lights and engines.
Where can I find Ford parts for sale?
Ford is third on our request list, with 96 part requests in the 12 months to October 2026: doors (9), engines (6) and gearboxes (5) lead. For a Ranger, say single, super or double cab, and 4x2 or 4x4. We strip accident-damaged cars in Lenasia South and test parts before they go out.
