How we source Mazda3 parts
Stripped from accident-damaged Mazda cars, then tested
- Over 15 years stripping accident-damaged vehicles for used parts.
- Removed carefully and tested before a part is sold, so you're not paying for something that doesn't work.
- Matched to your car — send the year, engine and VIN if you have it, and we'll check it's the right part.
A Pretoria-built Mazda to start with
The Mazda3 replaced the Etude (the old 323) in South Africa. In February 2004 Ford's local arm said both the hatch and the sedan would be built at its Silverton plant in Pretoria, and Pretoria is listed as an assembly site for the first-generation car. Until October 2014 the Mazda3 was sold through Ford; since then Mazda Southern Africa has handled the brand, starting with the third-generation car launched that September.
Know your generation
- BK (2003–2008): the first Mazda3, hatch and sedan.
- BL (2008–2013): the second generation.
- BM/BN (2013–2018): the third generation. After its 2016 update the South African range ran from the 1.6 Original, Active and Dynamic (77 kW) to the 2.0 Individual, Astina and Astina Plus (121 kW).
- BP (2019 on): the current shape.
Body parts and lights changed with each generation, so the year and whether it is a hatch or a sedan are the first two things we need.
Getting the right Mazda3 part
In the 12 months to October 2026, Mazda owners on this site asked us for bumpers more than any other part, followed by doors, tail lights, grilles and wheels. Those are typical accident-repair parts, and our stock comes from accident-damaged cars. We can also quote on engines and gearboxes.
Send us the year, the engine size (1.6 or 2.0), hatch or sedan, manual or auto, the trim if you know it, and the VIN. For lights and bumpers on a 2016-on car, tell us the trim: LED foglamps came from the Active up, and the Astina Plus had adaptive LED headlights. Parts are checked before they go out, and we have been stripping and selling used parts for over 15 years.

FAQ
Mazda3 parts questions
Where can I get Mazda parts?
New parts come from Mazda dealers. For used Mazda3 parts, ask a supplier that strips Mazdas for body parts, lights, engines and gearboxes. We strip accident-damaged cars and test parts before they go out. Send us your year, engine and VIN and we'll come back with a price.
